Cr John Katis - Mayor
Councillor John Katis was elected Mayor in December 2011.
Cr Katis has represented the Robinvale Ward since 1997, and has held the Deputy Mayor's position four times.
Cr Katis has lived in Robinvale for 55 years, and had a varied career. He has worked as a truck driver and with the State Rivers and Water Supply Commission, and owned a horticulture property growing grapes, vegetables, stonefruit and dried fruit.
Now retired, Cr Katis was also a small business operator, having owned and run a Robinvale mixed business for 17 years with his wife Wendy.
