Swan Hill Rural City is an exciting and growing municipality situated in the heartland of the Murray Valley, boasting one of the most diverse and productive rural areas in Australia.  The Rural City provides quality educational, hospital and sporting facilities and services, with major population centres in Swan Hill and Robinvale.

Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, Council is seeking an innovative and skilled professional to guide the Information Technology and Information Management (Records) Programs into an exciting new phase with the recent adoption of Council’s IT Strategy.

This is a senior position within Council, requiring strategic planning, resource and financial management experience, demonstrated leadership capabilities and clear evidence of effective project management skills.

At a personal level we are looking for demonstrated highly developed communication skills with staff, contractors and senior management and commitment to outcomes.
