APPRENTICE HORTICULTURALIST (PARKS & GARDENS)
Applications are invited for the position of Apprentice Horticulturalist (Parks & Gardens) within Engineering Services - Works, a Program of Council. The Apprentice will be responsible to the Deputy Team Leader Parks & Gardens for learning parks and gardens works that enhance the image of Council and will be required to participate in Certificate III in Horticulture training and scheduled Trade School activities as directed.
Applicants will need to be self motivated, have an appreciation and interest in horticulture and be team orientated.
Salary: This is a permanent full time Apprenticeship for four years commencing on $15,900 per annum plus allowances. Other employment benefits include uniform allowance, annual leave loading at 17.5% and provision of all protective clothing.
