AUTHORISED OFFICER – SWAN HILL
Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking an enthusiastic person to assist with parking control and the implementation of Council’s regulatory services in Swan Hill. Duties include monitoring of school crossings, local law enforcement, animal and stock control, fire prevention measures, recreational water management and general administration.
Applicants require current drivers and shooters licences, basic first aid qualifications and negotiation and conflict management skills. The ability to work in a team environment, deal effectively with difficult customers and gain a working knowledge of legislative requirements relevant to the position are also essential.
The successful incumbent will also be required to complete Certificate IV in Local Government (Statutory Compliance) studies where they do not already hold this qualification. This will be fully supported by Council.

Salary: Attracting approximately $42,000 per annum, this is a full time permanent position.
