CHILDCARE SERVICES OFFICER - ROBINVALE

PERMANENT PART TIME

RE-ADVERTISED

The Childcare Services Officer provides support in the development, delivery and administration of the Robinvale After School & Vacation Care Program.  Duties include support to staff, supervision of children within the Program, development of recreational activities and program evaluation.  The Officer will also provide support to careproviders, families and children in the Family Day Care service in Robinvale.

The successful applicant will have experience in working with school-aged children and have the ability to plan and develop recreational activities and instruct children in such activities.  Satisfactory Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification are essential.  Also desirable is relevant early childhood / teaching qualifications, however applicants without these qualifications will be considered.

Salary: Attracting $20.48 per hour this is a permanent part time position within Council.  Hours of work will range from 20 to 30 hours per week.  Hours of employment may increase with program development.
