CADET BUILDING SURVEYOR

The Swan Hill Rural City Council seeks applications for the position of Cadet Building Surveyor. This unique position in Council will see the successful student gain permanent work in Council’s building surveying department whilst completing correspondence studies in a Bachelor of Building Surveying and Certification through Central Queensland University. 

The Bachelor Course covers the laws, processes, science and management involved in the construction industry, all whilst gaining valuable and paid on the job experience.  Commencement of the Cadetship will be pending on the applicants minimum ENTER score of 55-60, with passes in English, Science and Maths subjects.

Salary: Attracting approximately $12.50 per hour ($475.00 per week), this is a full time position, including a paid study component.
