GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS OFFICER
Applications are invited for the position of Geographic Information Systems Officer within the Swan Hill Rural City Council. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the development and administration of all aspects of Council’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Applications are sought from people who have an extensive knowledge of MapInfo Professional, Exponare and Mapbasic GIS applications, the ability to collect, analyse, and integrate GPS survey points. Knowledge of principles and concepts of geography, cartography, and computer mapping will also be an advantage.
Salary: Attracting approximately $27.50 per hour ($525.00 per week), this is a permanent part time position offered at 38 hours per fortnight.
