INFORMATION OFFICER
An opening currently exists in the Records Management area of the Swan Hill Rural City Council for an Information Officer to assist with both the management and the continued development of Council’s information system.
Council is required to keep full and accurate records which form Council’s corporate memory. All correspondence, memorandums, advertisements, minutes and other like information is electronically registered and retrievable.
If you believe you are a highly motivated and organised person with customer service focus and the ability to work as an effective team member, then Council wants your application.
Major duties of the position include mail processing, electronic correspondence registration, filing, photocopying and attending telephone and counter enquiries. The successful applicant will possess well developed, accurate keyboard and word processing skills, have a basic knowledge of Information Management practices and good memory retention.
Salary: Approximately $37,000 this is a full-time, permanent position within Council
