EDUCATION PROGRAM ASSISTANT
The Education Program is an integral service provided to visiting school groups of the Pioneer Settlement that incorporates hands on activities, displays and workshops designed to enhance student’s experience of the Museum.
The Education Program Assistant will assist with the delivery of safe, interactive activities to students. The Assistant will also be involved in general activation duties throughout the Museum when not participating in school group functions.
Applicants require experience in working with school aged children with a recreational focus, well developed organisational skills and the ability to communicate with groups of children and adults. Current first aid certificate and satisfactory police and working with children checks are also essential.
Salary: Approximately $20.00 per hour, this is a temporary part time placement of two days per week until end 2009.
