PROPERTIES MAINTENANCE OFFICER

Council seeks to appoint a skilled professional to the Engineering Services Department to oversee the maintenance of Council owned and managed buildings and properties.

This new position will monitor maintenance of Council buildings and properties to ensure legislative obligations and asset management responsibilities in accordance with a rolling four year capital and maintenance works program.

Applicants will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in building maintenance, contractor and staff management and clear evidence of effective problem solving and decision-making.  Highly developed communication skills and attention to detail combined with knowledge and experience in contract supervision and administration is also required.

Salary: This is a full-time position attracting $45,800 per annum
