COMMUNITY, RECREATION AND GRANTS OFFICER

 

CHALLENGING NEW ROLE

 

Council is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced applicant to fulfill the duties of the Community, Recreations and Grants Officer.  This new position within Council reports to the Community Facilitation Manager and is accountable for the application and delivery of Council grants, whilst providing support to recreation groups concerning user agreements, fees and funding availability.  The successful applicant will also provide assistance with the development and implementation of Council's Community Plans.

Applications are sought from people who have a demonstrated knowledge of the community and recreation clubs generally, possess strong communication skills and are competent with the Microsoft Office Suite.  Time management and planning skills combined with a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team environment are also essential.

Salary – this is a full time permanent position within Council attracting approximately $44,000 per annum
