SWAN HILL RURAL CITY COUNCIL
TECHNICAL OFFICER
Council is seeking an enthusiastic person to assist with the inspection and investigation of Council assets and supervision of contractors. The position is based in Swan Hill, however, the successful incumbent will be required to travel across the entire Municipality.
The Officer will oversee general project work in drainage, sealed roads and construction whilst completing some night inspections for a minimum of two weeks per year.
On the job training will be provided however applicants are required to have competent computer skills with experience working with databases beneficial. An interest in professional development, combined with the ability to work in a team environment, provide quality customer service and ensure attention to detail when completing data entry tasks are also essential.
Salary: Attracting approximately $42,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, this is a permanent full time position. A vehicle will be supplied on a commuter use basis.
