SETTLEMENT PROJECT WORKER PART TIME
Based within Council's Economic Development Unit this position is accountable to the Skilled Migration Coordinator to assist and assess the health, education, employment and other needs in the cultural transition of individuals and families to settle better in our area.
To provide referral to mainstream and community services both on a formal and informal basis, develop and implement forums to assist in the orientation to Australian life for the recently arrived new residents.
Exceptional communication skills together with project management and coordination experience is required for this position.
Salary: Attracting approximately $24.2951 per hour this is a temporary part time position funded until 30 June 2010, offered at 3 days a week.
