FAMILY DAY CARE FIELD WORKER - PART TIME

Applications are invited for the position of Field Worker for the Swan Hill Rural City Council Family Day Care Scheme.  This part time position requires Diploma-level qualifications in early childhood as a minimum, and is responsible for providing support to carers, families children in the Scheme and operational aspects of FDC.

The Officer will advise, model and support carers to implement quality child-focused care, facilitate placement of children, and provide relevant feedback to families. The successful applicant will also actively promote Family Day Care to the community with the intention to recruit carers and families to the service and become familiar with all operational aspects of the service. The position requires 2 – 3 days per week.

Salary: $24.30 per hour, dependent on appropriate qualifications.
