SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced engineers to fulfil the role of Senior Design Engineer at the Swan Hill Rural City Council.
Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services, the ideal applicant will have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and/or have substantive experience in a related engineering role and be able to recognise and identify engineering design opportunities that will enhance the infrastructure services of the City.
The position occupant will take a lead role in key investigation, survey and engineering design projects associated with civil works, road infrastructure and asset infrastructure, including preparation of detailed design plans, cost estimates and material procurement across a broad range of municipal works and contracts. Input into the preparation of annual operational budgets and plans and staff and contractor management is also embraced in the position requirements.
