EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Council seeks an extensively skilled and confident administrator with a ‘can do' attitude to join the CEO's Department. Not for the faint hearted, the Executive Officer role provides high level administration and secretarial support to the Mayor and Councillors, coordinates all facets of Council meetings, and acts as the internal liaison between Council and all other Council Officers.
This position is critical to the successful operation of the CEO's Department and only candidates with excellent communication skills, advanced competency with software including word, publisher and excel and the ability to work effectively in a high pressure and demanding environment need apply. Applicants must also possess the ability to work with changing priorities, time manage and plan own work load whilst actively contributing to a cohesive team environment. Experience working within local government is also highly desirable.
Salary - This is a permanent full-time placement attracting up to $57,200 per annum based on qualifications and experience.
