ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM PROJECT OFFICER - ROBINVALE
Reporting to the Economic Development and Tourism Executive, the Economic Development and Tourism Project Officer will be responsible for facilitating business, economic development and marketing projects and information services in the Robinvale Region, within the Swan Hill Rural City municipality.
Partly funded by the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development the Officer will also provide input into developing and reviewing Council's economic development, marketing and tourism policies and strategies.
Applicants should have proven experience in project management, possess extensive computer-based skills (including website maintenance), have the ability to compile and analyse information, be competent in written and oral communications and hold a relevant tertiary qualification in tourism, economics, business or marketing. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Salary: Approximately $46,000 per annum, offered on a part time basis of 0.8 EFT. Hours and days of work are negotiable.
Tenure: This is a temporary two year appointment within Council
