FUNCTIONS & CATERING OFFICER

Reporting to the Bookings Officer, the Functions and Catering Officer is accountable for the daily operations of the Pioneer Settlement Lodges, functions and all catering services.   

 

Applicant will be required to undertake all necessary duties associated with accommodation, functions and catering services for large and small groups utilising the Pioneer Settlement facilities whilst providing timely and friendly customer service and operating in a profitable and serviceable manner.

 

The successful applicant will be committed to provision of high level customer service, and possess extensive experience in Hospitality or related fields.  Applicants also require experience in stock control, have negotiation and conflict management skills and be adaptable, flexible and well organised.  High levels of energy and drive are required along with an innovative approach to problem solving and the ability to work independently.

Salary: This is a permanent part time position within Council at 35 hours per week. Attracting approximately $25.00 per hour, duties will be on a rostered basis and may include weekend, evening, public holiday work and split shifts.
