TRAINEE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES OFFICER
The Swan Hill Rural City Council seeks applications for the position of Trainee IT Services Officer within its Information Technology Program.
The position is offered as part of the Victorian Government's Youth Employment Scheme initiative and is targeted at young people who are aged 15 to 24 years and are unemployed or not in full time work. Early school leavers are also strongly encouraged to apply.
The position would suit a young person intending to pursue a career in Information Technology and will include training and skills development in the Microsoft suite of office products, Server Operating Systems, Desktop Support and basic Networking protocols. Applicants must also be committed to completing traineeship studies combined with other professional development opportunities.
Salary: The position is full time for 18 months only and is offered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the National Training Wage.
