FINANCE TRAINEESHIP
The Swan Hill Rural City Council seeks applications for the position of Finance Trainee within its Finance Department.
The position would suit a young person intending to pursue a career in accounting. Duties will include preparation of financial reports, reconciliations of bank accounts and trust deposits, accounting adjustments, payroll support, data entry into the Civica mainframe computer system for accounts payable and accounts receivable, investment administration and other related tasks.
The successful applicant will have the ability to undertake computer related tasks and have a strong commitment to customer service. They will also be self motivated and have a commitment to complete essential study related to the traineeship.
People of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent are encouraged to apply.
Salary: The position is full time for 12 months only and is offered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the National Training Wage, Skill Level A.
