INFORMATION OFFICER
Permanent Part Time Position

An opening currently exists in the Records Management area of the Swan Hill Rural City Council for an Information Officer to join the Information Management Team.
Council is required to keep full and accurate records which form Council's corporate memory. All correspondence, memorandums, advertisements, minutes and other like information are electronically registered and retrievable.
If you believe you are a methodical and organised person with customer service skills and have the ability to work as an effective team member, then Council wants your application.
Major duties of the position include filing, photocopying, electronic correspondence registration and attending telephone and counter enquiries. The successful applicant will possess well developed, accurate keyboard (minimum of 30wpm) and word processing skills, have a basic knowledge of Information Management practices, or willingness to learn and good memory retention. The successful applicant will be required to obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
Salary: Approximately $21.50 per hour, this is a permanent part time position offered at 25 hours per week.
