OUT OF SCHOOL HOURS PROGRAM OFFICER
PART TIME MATERNITY RELIEF POSITION
The Swan Hill Rural City Council seeks applications for the position of Out of School Hours Program Officer to support the delivery of recreational based activities to children in Council's After School and Vacation Care Programs.
The Officer will provide support in the development, delivery and administration of Out of School Hours Programs. Duties include general administration and word processing, support to staff, children and families, program evaluation and support and supervision of casual child care staff.
The successful applicant will have experience in working with children, be a competent administrator and hold, or be studying to obtain, a relevant qualification (Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood/Primary Education). Also desirable is a small bus licence or the ability to obtain this.
Salary: Attracting $24.00 per hour, the position will be offered on a part time basis of 15 hours per week, working afternoons from Monday to Friday. Hours increase to 25 hours per week (5 hours per day) during school holidays.
Placement will commence end September 2011 on a maternity relief basis for 12 months.
