VISITOR SERVICES OFFICER

Permanent Full Time Position

The Pioneer Settlement currently has available a Permanent Full Time position for a Visitor Services Officer.  The Visitor Services Officer works as part of a team to coordinate group visitations, functions, customer service and volunteer operations at the Pioneer Settlement.  This role will involve acting as duty officer on the weekends.

The successful applicant will be committed to provision of high level customer service, and posses appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated extensive experience in hospitality or related fields.  Applicants also require human and resource management experience, function coordination and rostering, have negotiation and conflict management skills and be adaptable, flexible and well organised.  High levels of energy and drive are required along with an innovative approach to problem solving and the ability to work independently.

Days of work will be Thursday to Monday and may also require some evening work on a rostered basis.

Salary: Attracting approximately $48,000 per annum, plus additional payments for weekend work, this is a permanent full time position.
