FLOOD RECOVERY OFFICER
Temporary Full Time Position
Council is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced applicant to fulfill the duties of a Flood Recovery Officer. This new funded position within Council reports to the Environmental Health and Regulatory Services Coordinator. The Flood Recovery Officer will lead and coordinate recovery and rebuilding, in partnership with other key stakeholders implement the Flood Recovery Action Plan within our municipality.
Applications are sought from people who have a demonstrated knowledge of the community, project management skills, and ability to gain cooperation from various agencies. Strong communication skills, time management and planning skills combined with a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team environment are also essential.
Salary – Attracting between $62,300 and $67,300, this is a full time temporary funded position within Council to June 2012.
