HEALTHY COMMUNITIES COORDINATOR
TEMPORARY FULL TIME POSITION
Applications are invited for the temporary position of Healthy Communities Coordinator within the Community Facilitation unit at Council. Accountable to the Community Planning & Development Officer, this position will assist in developing and implementing the Eat Move and Live in the Heart of the Murray Project. This project is designed to increase physical activity and dietary education programs among the community, with a particular emphasis on those not in the paid workforce.
Applications are sought from people who have a demonstrated knowledge of the community, possess strong communication skills and are competent with the Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in marketing, urban design/planning or health promotion will be regarded highly. Time management and planning skills combined with a commitment to customer service and the ability to work in a team environment are also essential.
Salary - This is a full-time temporary position for 21 months attracting approximately $60,000 per annum.
