Don't miss your opportunity to purchase fresh spring produce this Saturday when the Robinvale Community Growers' Market gets underway in Caix Square from 8.30am.

Shoppers to the market will be able to choose from a variety of produce including new season capsicum, spring onions and garlic as well as oranges, avocadoes, honey from Vinifera, sun dried sultanas and muscats and much more.

The market also sells a delicious variety of cakes, slices and biscuits, freshly squeezed orange juice and real fruit icy poles.

“The Robinvale Community Growers market follows the principals of a farmers' market which is predominantly fresh foods and value-added products,” Council's Food for All Officer Sallie Amy said.

“While this may mean at times the market is small, the guarantee is that what is available is in season, very fresh and grown within approximately 100 kilometres of Robinvale.

“Also buying food and products from the market is a great way to support your local farmers and community.”

The market is also looking for more stall holders to join and welcomes any enquiries – a registration form must be completed prior to having a stall.

For more information regarding the market, or if you would like to be a stall holder, please contact Sallie Amy on 5036 2376.

The Robinvale Community Growers Market will take place this Saturday, 17 October from 8.30am until 12.30pm in Caix Square.
