Media Release
Monday, 26 October 2009
Swan Hill Rural City Council in conjunction with Ellwaste would like to advise of a change to the waste and recycle collection day for some residents within the Swan Hill township.
Due to the growth of residential homes in the new Tower Hill estate and in order to be able to service all residents in a timely manner, some collection routes and days will be changed.
Residents living within the following streets will have their garbage bins collected weekly on Wednesdays instead of Fridays:
|
· Ashton Street |
· Lock Drive |
|
· Barwick Court |
· McBain Street |
|
· Dwyer Court |
· Miles Court |
|
· Frazer Street |
· Mortoo Street |
|
· Fulford Court |
· Murlong Street |
|
· Ledwidge Court |
· Ramsay Court |
|
· Livingston Court |
· Weaver Drive |
Affected residents have been notified of the change by mail and a second reminder letter will be sent out to the residents this week.
The change to the collection will be applied as of Wednesday, 4 November 2009, please note, that this will also be a recycle collection week. Recycle bins will continue to be collected on a fortnightly basis.
If you have any queries regarding this change, please contact Council's Elizabeth Brecevic on 5036 2333.
