Featuring the work of local and visiting artists and artisans, everyone is invited to come along to the Swan Hill arts precinct this Sunday and discover the artistic talent and diversity at the Go North Arts Festival Artist Market.
With paintings in all sizes and mediums, photography, prints, ceramics, porcelain dolls, pottery, sculpture and much more, the Arts Market will be the perfect place to pick up your own piece of unique art while browsing through a wide range of artistic goods for sale.
Arts Market organiser Lorri Lambert said not only would visitors to the market be able to peruse and purchase a range of artistic goods, they would also be able to take the opportunity to view current exhibitions at the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery, enjoy lunch or head over to the Pioneer Settlement.
“The market will finish up at 1pm, allowing plenty of time for our visitors at the end of their buying spree to discover the Swan Hill arts precinct, including the gallery, the picturesque setting of Spoons Riverside as well as step back in time with a visit to the Pioneer Settlement,” Mrs Lambert said.
“The Arts Market will certainly be the perfect way to wind up the 2009 Go North Arts Festival, not to mention the perfect way to spend a Sunday out with the family.”
A range of artists' work will be available at the market including Wayne Bradbury, Mallee Artists Swan Hill, Gwen Clarke, Caroline Ellis, Esther Kirby, the Moulamein Art Group, local TAFE students, Pamela Blackman and much more.
The Go North Arts Festival Artist Market will take place this Sunday, 1 November at the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery carpark from 9am until 1pm.
