Swan Hill Rural City Council is inviting community members to come along to the Swan Hill Town Hall on Tuesday, 10 November to view key features of the CBD Master Plan Report and share their thoughts.

The community meeting will be the final stage of community consultation regarding the Master Plan, which has incorporated feedback received at the community workshops held in May and July earlier this year.

Swan Hill Rural City Mayor Cr Greg Cruickshank said the meeting would be the last opportunity for community members to provide their opinion on the Master Plan Report before the plan is finalised.

“This is an important and final stage in the community consultation process and I encourage our community members to come along, view the key features of the plan and share your thoughts,” he said.

“The Master Plan aims to provide a blueprint for the revitalisation of our city's Central Business District including streetscapes and public spaces, shade and vegetation, traffic flow and more.

“It would be great to have a range of community interests represented at the meeting and to share their opinions at this final consultation stage.”

Project consultants from Aspect Studios Pty Ltd will be available on the night to discuss the Master Plan and answer related questions.

The Swan Hill CBD Master Plan Community Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 10 November at the Swan Hill Town Hall from 7pm until 9pm.

For more information contact Council's Economic Development Officer, Claire Oswin on 5032 3033 or email: coswin@swanhill.vic.gov.au.
