Community members and visitors are encouraged to take advantage of the spring weather and all it has to offer when the Robinvale Community Growers' Market gets underway in Caix Square this Saturday, 19 September.

Be impressed by the array of goods on offer, including fresh fruit and vegetables, mouth-watering cakes, sauces and chutney, nuts and wines and much more.

Market Co-ordinator and Council's Food for All Officer Sallie Amy said that with the arrival of warmer weather, it was the perfect opportunity to get along to the market and support your local producers.

“Not only does spring bring with it the beautiful weather, now is the perfect time to get along to the market and see what spring has brought to the market.

“The market is always a great day out for the family, with music, barbecue and a festive atmosphere to be enjoyed.”

Ms Amy added that the market was always looking for more stallholders.

“We would love to hear from people who would like to run stalls of fruit and vegetables, seedlings, plants and value-added food items,” she said.

The Robinvale Community Growers' Market will be held this Saturday, 19 September from 8.30am until 12.30pm in Caix Square.

If you're interested in holding a stall at the Robinvale Market, please contact Sallie Amy on 5036 2333 to register.
