Council's Volunteer Support Officer Jenny Astall said the awards provided an opportunity to recognise and thank volunteers and community organisations across the municipality.

“The day-to-day role volunteers play within our region cannot be underestimated. The evening celebrates the dedication and commitment of our community and volunteer organisations,” she said.
