Gone With The Wind
Before television and laptops the entertainment highlight of the week was the Sunday night radio play.
The iconic romance Gone with the Wind traces the life and loves of Scarlett O'Hara, set amidst the turmoil of the American Civil War. Her turbulent courtship and marriage to the dashing Rhiett Butler is legendary in movie history, and ends abruptly with arguably the most famous line ever spoken on screen: "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn."
The Lux Radio Theatre recreates the golden age of radio drama with distinguished actors playing multiple roles, complete with tuxedos, appluse signs and vintage soap commercials.
Cabaret Seating (Tables of 10) Devonshire Tea available.
