The Social Support Program provides opportunities for eligible people to interact socially.

The two main forms of social interaction are through activity based groups or by clients participating on outings.

There are three main types of groups:

  • Respite groups
  • Planned activity groups
  • Exercise groups

The planned outings visit places of interest within the entire Swan Hill Rural City Council municipality and beyond.

Clients requiring assistance due to health and mobility issues are supported by trained staff to enable them to participate.

For further information please call: Aged & Disability Services on 5036 4700 or visit Swan Hill Rural City Council at 45 Splatt Street, Swan Hill.

This program is supported by funding from the Australian and Victorian Governments under the HACC program.
