Swan Hill Rural City Council, in partnership with State and Federal Government, can provide an additional range of services for the community.  An example of the additional services can be found below.



From Photographic Competition - Darren Hill Drought Social Relief
The ongoing drought has had a significant cumulative impact on the Swan Hill Municipality. Its devastating consequences not only effects our rural sector, but also our local businesses, families, individuals and community as a whole throughout the region.
 Sister City - Yamagata
The link between Swan Hill and Yamagata officially occurred in 1980 and was one of the earliest Sister City arrangements with Japan. The exchange of sealed documents took place in ceremonies both in Yamagata and Swan Hill after almost 18 months of negotiations
 Community Grants
Swan Hill Rural City Council, as part of its annual budget, has set aside funds that are available to suitably qualified community organisations to obtain financial assistance to pursue their organisation's objectives.
