NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF COUNCIL OWNED PROPERTY

At its special meeting on 20 October 2009, Swan Hill Rural City Council resolved to give public notice of its intention to sell Council owned land by private treaty.  Seeking submissions for consideration on the proposed sale pursuant to S189 of the Local Government Act 1989.

Council propose to sell the following lots located in Tower Hill Estate:

Stage Six Development

Lots 204 - 251 as shown on PS 510325C Stage 6

as contained in Volume 11140 Folio 522

Sea Lake Road Parish of Castle Donnington

Submissions in respect of this notice will be considered in accordance with Section 223(1) of the Local Government Act 1989. Any person wishing to make a submission in accordance with this section must do so by 5pm Friday 20 November 2009.

Persons making submissions are entitled to appear in person or to be represented by a person specified within the submission at a meeting to be heard in support of the submission.

Submissions are to be in writing and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Swan Hill Rural City Council, 45 Splatt Street Swan Hill, 3585

If no submissions to the disposal of the land are received pursuant to section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 VicUrban shall be authorised to undertake negotiations to sell Lots 204 - 251 as shown on PS 510325C Stage 6 in accordance with the Deed of Agreement between VicUrban and Council.
