Swan Hill Rural City Council will start major road works on Woorinen Road this Tuesday, 18 March.
Council works staff will undertake a complete reconstruction of an 800 metre section of Woorinen Road, from Bish Road towards Woorinen South.
Director Infrastructure David Leahy said temporary traffic lights would be in place during the work, and some short delays were expected.
“We urge motorists to be aware of the potential for short delays. This is traditionally a very busy section of road, so we also encourage motorists to exercise caution when driving through the work site,” Mr Leahy said.
Work on Woorinen Road is expected to be complete by Easter.
