Keep warm these school holidays with a huge variety of activities at the Swan Hill Regional Library.
Kids will be kept entertained across the two-week period with Minecraft sessions, chess and chips, Lego, loom bands, henna tattooing, kids yoga, board games and even sessions on making balloon animals.
The cost of activities range from completely free with all supplies included, up to $7 for a yoga session.
Council’s Cultural Development and Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan highlighted the great opportunities the winter school holiday program offered.
“Not only does our program offer entertainment and the chance to try new things, but children can also meet new people, make new friends and learn new skills.
“We always get a great response from the kids that come along to our sessions, but equally important is the feedback from parents as well.
“It’s comforting for them to know that when their children come to the library, they know they are in a safe and supervised environment with access to activities they might not otherwise have had at home.
Ms Cullinan added that some of the activities will have a limit on numbers, so it’s important to book early to avoid disappointment.
