Wednesday, 28 February.
Join us for an evening with Darry Fraser, author of the recently published historical romance novel Where the Murray River Runs – a 19th Century story of greed, humour and overwhelming love, set on the banks of the Murray.
Darry will talk about the journey of the novel itself, following on from her success with ‘Daughter of the Murray’, which was also set on the mighty Murray River in the 1890s and was inspired by the five years Darry spent living in Swan Hill. Darry has published several other novels and novellas and a book of short stories, as well as a series of e-books. She currently lives on the South Australian coast.
Darry will be doing a book signing, with books for sale on the night for $30 each.

Praise for Where the Murray River Runs:
“This drew me in slowly, but once I got into the story I was hooked and stayed up well past my bedtime to finish. I loved the descriptive way Darry writes and could truly imagine myself in the places and time set out in the story.” — Claire Holderness
“I was actually on each page with all of these characters and I love a book that gets under my skin… I am sad to leave Where the Murray River Runs.” — Jeannette McAnderson
