Activation and Education Officer

Permanent Part Time position based in Swan Hill.

The Pioneer Settlement is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Activation and Education Officer to assist with the delivery of educational programs to visiting to school along daily activation activities for the general public.

To be successful in this position, you will have excellent communication skills, enjoy engaging with customers, be a natural people person and show high levels of energy and drive. Previous experience within the tourism or education field would be advantageous.

To assist in enhancing the visitor experience, you will also be required to wear period costume which will be supplied as part of employment.

A current recognised First Aid Certificate, satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Check are essential.

Salary

Attracting approximately $28.69 per hour, in addition superannuation is paid at 10.5%.  This is a permanent part time position within Council working approximately 41 hours per fortnight. The position will be on a set roster with every second weekend included as days of work.
