Full-time position based in Swan Hill.
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with HR, our Payroll Officer is the first point of contact for all payroll inquiries. Our Payroll Officer is in charge of calculating and processing of all aspects of employees pays in accordance with awards, agreements, council policy and legislation. The officer is responsible for timely and accurate preparation of payroll reconciliations, and preparation and lodgement of payroll related tax compliance (STP).
The role is end to end payroll, perfect for someone who can get into the detail and completely own the process.
The payroll officer will be exposed to sensitive information – therefore will require a high degree of professionalism and discretion.

Attracting approximately $65,685 and $71,758 per annum, in addition superannuation is paid at 10.5%. This is a permanent full time position within Council.
