Finance Officer – Accounts

Permanent Full-time position based in Swan Hill.

An excellent opportunity exists for a Finance Officer – Accounts to join Council’s Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, our Accounts officer is the first point of contact for all accounts payable inquiries and processing.

Council is looking for an enthusiastic officer with accurate data entry skills, a solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles, and an ability to build good relationships with staff and our suppliers.

The role is perfect for someone just starting their finance career or someone looking to continue their interest working in a finance role. Ideally we are looking for someone to completely own the accounts payable process and help implement new module software to drive future efficiency.

The position requires a person to have excellent verbal communication and computer skills, enjoys problem-solving and an ability to prioritise competing demands.

Salary

Between $60,725 and $63,080 per annum plus employer superannuation at 10.5%.

This is a permanent full time position within Council.
