Notice is given pursuant to Section 114 of the Local Government Act 2020 (“the Act”) of the intention of the Swan Hill Rural City Council (“The Council”) to sell Council owned land by private treaty.
At a meeting on 21 September 2021, Swan Hill Rural City Council resolved to give public notice of its intention to sell the following land:
Location: 9 CONDELEY STREET ULTIMA; LOT 1 TP822086 – PARISH OF ULTIMA (as shown in the diagram below)
Submissions in respect of this notice will be considered in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 and Council’s Community Engagement Guidelines. Any person wishing to make a submission in accordance with this this section must do so within 28 (twenty-eight) days after publication of this notice.
Persons making submissions are entitled to appear in person or to be represented by a person specified within the submission at a meeting to be heard in support of the submission. Please indicate in your submission if you want to speak to your submission.
Submissions are to be in writing and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Swan Hill Rural City Council, 45 Splatt Street Swan Hill Victoria 3585 and must be received by 5 pm on Friday 29 October 2021. Submissions received will be heard and considered at the Council Meeting to be held on 16 November 2021.
If no submissions to the sale of the land are received pursuant to Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 and Council’s Community Engagement Guidelines, Council Officers are authorised to sell the land to prospective purchaser.
