After mostly avoiding the direct effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Swan Hill Rural City Council community has now recorded a number of cases.
If you have received a text message from the Department of Health informing you that you were at an exposure site, and the site is not listed in official lists, please follow the advice in the text message and most likely, get tested immediately and self-isolate.
Testing is available at these locations:
- Swan Hill: Swan Hill District Health, Drive-Thru Testing Clinic, McCallum Street, open daily from 9am.
- Robinvale: Robinvale District Health Service, COVID car park symptomatic testing, 128-132 Latje Road, 9.00am-4.00pm 7 days per week.
Swan Hill Rural City Council’s Mayor Cr Bill Moar said Council would be providing assistance.
“With a number residents likely to be isolating at home in coming days, Council and a number of local and state agencies would be providing assistance to those isolating, as a result of confirmed exposure.
“Further information will be available soon regarding additional support.
“Anyone currently in need of assistance is encouraged to reach out, in the first instance by calling the State’s COVID Hotline 1800 675 398, ” Cr Moar said.
To contain the spread of cases, it is important to be tested if you have been notified as a result of a potential exposure, or have any symptoms.
