Swan Hill Rural City Council has secured $500,000 in funding from the State Government to complete stage one of the Robinvale Riverfront Masterplan project.
Swan Hill Rural City Council Mayor Cr Jade Benham said Council was aiming to make the Robinvale Riverfront Precinct a space that our community love and visitors stop to admire.
“This funding will give us the ability to deliver key projects identified in the Riverfront Masterplan.
“Our master plan covers the two kilometres stretch of river frontage from the bridge to Smythe Road.
“Focusing on key areas including Centenary Park, Robin Street, Robinvale Community Arts Centre and along the river from the Robinvale Euston Bridge to The Cut,” Cr Benham said.
Cr Benham said the Masterplan will provide important cultural, recreational, social and environmental opportunities for Robinvale.
“The draft masterplan opens for public comment on Monday 30 May. The Community is encouraged to get involved through existing networks and community groups, via Council’s Let’s Talk page and at future face to face opportunities. ” she added.
This project is funded in partnership between Swan Hill Rural City Council and Sport and Recreation Victoria via the Victoria Governments 2021-22 Local Sports Infrastructure Fund.
