Council provides immunisations to the community at a morning and evening session every month.

Immunisations are also given to Year 7 and Year 10 students at secondary schools throughout the municipality. Adolescents of equivalent age outside the school setting are also eligible for these vaccines, which can be given at Council sessions.

Vaccines available free of charge are on the National Immunisation Program Schedule.  All other vaccines must be paid for.

If you want to receive your flu vaccine through Council’s immunisation service there are a few things you need to know.

1. Bookings for ALL flu vaccines are essential. You must book (and pay if required) at Council’s Swan Hill office before the immunisation session.

2. The vaccine is free for children six months to four years, and for adults over 65.

3. The vaccine is available for people aged five to 64 years for $25 per person.

To book your place visit Council’s Swan Hill office at 45 Splatt Street and complete a booking form and make any necessary payment.

Find out about Swan Hill immunisation dates below or call the Public Health team on 5036 2591.

** PLEASE NOTE: If you live in the Robinvale area, you can contact Robinvale District Health Services, your GP or pharmacist to enquire about the flu vaccine.
