Eligible organisations
Intersection collection and door knocking permits are available for charitable organisations and non-profit groups whose activities will benefit the residents of the municipality.
Do I require a permit?
You will require a permit if you wish to conduct intersection or door knocking collections.
Council is unable to provide permission for intersection collections on VicRoads controlled roads. Contact VicRoad for permission or call them on 131171.
Fees
Permits for intersection collection and door knocking are free of charge for charitable organisations and non-profit groups whose activities will benefit the residents of the municipality.
How to apply
- Complete the application form and return it to Council along with:
- A copy of your insurance certificate showing dates of coverage and $20 million in public liability
- Proof that your organisation is a charity and/or not-for-profit
