Accessible Parking Permits give parking concessions to those with impaired mobility.
There are three types of Accessible Parking Permits available to Victorian residents:
- An Australian Disability Parking (ADP) Permit (for individuals)
- A Victorian Double Time Permit (for individuals)
- An Australian Disability Parking (ADP) Permit (for organisations)
Long term permits are now 5 years. Short term permits are now 6, 12 or 24 months.
Help with your application
If you have questions about how to apply for a permit, the changes to the parking scheme, or you would like to dispute the outcome of an application, read the Frequently Asked Questions on the VicRoads website.
Replacing an existing permit
If you’ve lost your permit, you will need to complete a statutory declaration and organise a replacement on VicRoad’s Accessible Parking Permit website.
Renew a permit
Renew a permit via VicRoad’s Accessible Parking Permit website. All current permit holders must undertake a medical assessment when they renew into the APP Scheme. Permit holders can now be assessed as having a permanent medical condition or disability and will no longer require medical assessments to renew permits.
