Council holds regular meetings to make decisions for our community. Meetings are open to the public or they can be watched via livestream on our YouTube channel. Council meetings will go in-camera and be closed to the public to discuss confidential matters in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 and our Governance Rules.
We have a team of seven Councillors, democratically elected as representatives for all residents and ratepayers across the municipality.
Council meetings are generally held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2pm.

A valid petition is a written request to Council, signed by a minimum of 20 people, that raises a concern and asks Council to take action.
