The Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery is proud to present a special exhibition showcasing a curated selection of entries from the popular Our Municipality through Your Lens photo competition.

Running alongside Swan Hill Rural City Council’s annual photography competition, the exhibition will offer visitors a unique opportunity to view the region through the eyes of its residents. From sweeping landscapes and vibrant community moments to hidden gems and iconic landmarks, the photographs on display capture the rich diversity and spirit of the Swan Hill municipality.

Art Gallery Director Ian Tully said the exhibition is a celebration of both place and people.

“We’re thrilled to host this exhibition—it’s a powerful reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and the incredible talent that exists within our community,” Mr Tully said.

“This is more than just a photo competition. It’s a celebration of our region, our stories, and the creative voices that bring them to life.”

The competition welcomes photographers of all skill levels—from beginners with a smartphone to seasoned professionals with a DSLR. Everyone is encouraged to take part and share their unique perspective.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery’s temporary space in the Swan Hill Regional Library following the close of the competition on 31 July 2025. Entry is free, and all are welcome to attend.
