Swan Hill Rural City Council is currently seeking feedback to help guide the strategic direction for the Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve through the development of a Masterplan.

Council’s Mayor, Cr Stuart King said the development of a Masterplan for Ken Harrison Reserve aimed to guide how the space evolves over the coming years.

“Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve is a well-loved community space. Spanning 17 hectares, the Reserve is surrounded by homes, new housing developments, schools and walking tracks, making it a hub for local sport, leisure and community life.

“This plan will set a vision for creating a welcoming, well-equipped and vibrant place for everyone to enjoy,” he said

Cr King said Ken Harrison Recreation Reserve is already home to a wide mix of community and sporting groups who bring the space to life.

“Now, Council is asking the broader community to have their say.

“By sharing your ideas, you’ll be helping us shape the future of this much-loved Reserve.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for locals to ensure the space reflects the needs of our growing community -both now and into the future,” Cr King said.

Community members are encouraged to complete a short survey to share their thoughts, ideas and priorities for the Reserve.
